Rotary Foundation - 2003/2004

The Foundation Committee has made sure that the Club successfully nominated a candidate for the Rotary World Peace Scholarship in each of the first three years the scholarship has been on offer. This is a remarkable achievement considering there are only 70 awards each year.  Bob Fels has been the key to this Club's success.

We took an active part in hosting the Irish Group Study Exchange Team for several days.  As you will recall, the Club had them as our guests at the Angus Mitchell Oration.

The Club passed to The Rotary Foundation over $12,000 representing donations from individual members of the Club.  This effort has maintained the Club's record of per annum giving.
