Information - 2003/2004

The main focus of the Information Directorate over the last year has been to ensure that all members have a good knowledge of RI and RCM activities.

The Information Committee, under the chairmanship of Bruce Davidson, has instigated in conjunction with the Luncheon Committee a regular three minute talk segment at our weekly meetings to inform members of the wide scope of RCM activities.

The Publications Committee, with Chairman Alistair Urquhart, has maintained a high standard of the weekly Bulletin with input from many club members and in particular,  "Muzza".

The Bulletin and Directory have been redesigned to reflect our Centenary year.

The Public Relations Committee has produced media and visitor packages and are also gearing up to handle the Centenary year of Rotary International.  This will involve publicity through the ABC and Australia Post, along with generating publicity for our own - and District - projects.

John Tozer has taken over the role of Club Photographer from Ian Dakin.

The website is being completely redeveloped by Stephen Lake and Phil Bowley so as to make more information more accessible to members, and in a ore timely manner.
