THE ROTARY FOUNDATION - RCM ROTARY FOUNDATION COMMITTEE MEMBER INFORMATION
Here are some resources for Foundation subcommittee members, taken from R.I. web pages and a recent District seminar. In order to be ready to answer any questions from other members of the Club, subcommittee members should peruse these resources, and seek further information via the subcommittee Chair when needed.
Global Grants – the potential to turn $16,000 into $40,000. Maybe $8,000 if we have another $8,000 from a partner Club, e.g. one of our Sister Clubs!
Here is a document outlining the different kinds of Grants:
FOUNDATION GRANTS NOTES (GS) UPDATED 2 9 2014.DOCX
When contacted by our own members, we are most likely to be asked about the Terms and Conditions for a grant. These are included in this document:
ROTARY_GRANTS_POST OCT 2012_TERMS_CONDITIONS_EN (4).PDF
The Club also needs to abide by the conditions in the
CLUB MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING_EN (4).PDF
If a District Grant is involved, the following report must be made:
DG CLUB REPORT FORM D9800-1 (2).DOC
To apply for a District Grant, this form is used:
DISTRICT GRANT APPLICATION D9800 (1)-1-14 (2).DOC
(NB: The District 9800 Foundation subcommittee is a source of information and advice, if the same cannot be found within our own subcommittee.)
Our Sister Clubs are as follows:
All contact should be initiated through the relevant liaison officer, in the first instance contact the Chair of International Fellowship.
